We are releasing the newest installment, John, Eternal Love the first week of December! I know you’ll love reading this new, dynamic version of the Bible.
Next in line is Acts, to the Lovers of God. We plan on releasing it along with the 2nd Edition of Luke in one volume (Luke & Acts, to the Lovers of God) in the summer of 2014. This monumental project is truly going to touch millions of English speakers around the world. We get daily feedback from pastors and churches about how TPT has impacted their lives. So encouraging! Please let your friends and family know about this project and don’t forget that TPT is the Word of God and makes an excellent Christmas gift.
We’ll leave you with a taste of John, Eternal Love:
This is what Jesus prayed as He looked up into heaven,
“Father, the time has come.
Unveil the glorious splendor of Your Son,
So that I will magnify Your glory!
You have already given Me authority
Over all people so that I may give
The gift of eternal life
To all those that You have given to Me.
Eternal Life means to know and experience You
As the only True God,
And to know and experience Jesus Christ,
As the Son whom You have sent.
I have shown the world Your glory
By faithfully doing everything You’ve told Me to do.
So My Father, restore Me back to the glory
Which we shared together when We were face to face
Before the universe was created.”

I love everyone of your translations…..I have given them as gifts both to my Bible Study ladies, as well as, other friends and family……You are doing a wonderful job and I cannot tell you how much these books mean to me, as well as, others….thank you for your surrender and commitment to this generation…..blessings
Lewis Simmons gave me a copy of The Most Amazing Song of All on this past Sunday. I read it yesterday and I can hardly wait to read all the rest of the translations. I want everyone I know to really understand this revelation of the love of Jesus. May God bless this ministry to which He has called you.
Thank you Marcia!
I have bought all the translations thus far. I want to purchase Luke & Acts together. I hope it is for sale now.
Additionally, I have given the TPT for gifts. I love reading Psalm 91 & 139 in fact, I read it to my 17 yr. old grandson
and he really understood it. We were both blessed by the words. Thank you for your time & effort to complete
the Passion translation of God’s word. I hope you will bring some more books when you visit the Bridge.
First of all, I am loving this translation. It has opened my eyes even more to the wonders of the word of God and accents His spoken word that much more. Thank you.
I would love to know what’s coming next? When is the next announcement. Secretly hoping for Isaiah, Romans or Revelation. Although, I will be happy to hear of any new ones coming out.
May the Lord continue to bless you as you walk the journey He has set before you. Stand strong and finish the race having endurance for the path before you. He is doing a new thing.
I also love your shares on Facebook from your quiet times with the Holy Spirit. It sounds like Him and boosts my faith as I read the words of the one I love. Thank you again.
Hi Dayna!
Next is Matthew, it will be published in February, then Romans will be coming out in time for Easter. thanks for asking and for your love for the word of God! Bless you! Brian Simmons
Having purchased Luke on it’s own is there a way of just purchasing Acts or do they have to come together.
Thank for this translation – it is life-giving
Mark
Hi Mark!
They’ll be sent together. You’ll love it!
Hi Brian, I have ordered the psalms and Hebrews and James on kindle and love them! Can you tell me if/when you plan on finishing the balance of Paul’s letter, i.e. corinthians, Galatians and Romans specifically? Also, is the Isaiah book an actual translation or just a book about the prophet?
thanks
Steve
Hi Steve!
The book on Isaiah is a commentary on the first 8 chapters. I’m currently translating Romans and it will be finished and ready to print in March. Then I do Mark, 1 & 2 Corinthians, etc, finishing the New Testament by 2017. Thanks for your interest in TPT!
Brian
Hi Steve, Romans will be available by June and Isaiah is a commentary on the first 8 chapters. Many blessings to you throughout this new year!
Thank you for your translations. They are such a joy and delight to read and injest. They feed the soul like no others. So looking forward to Isaiah. With love from a very cold Norfolk coast.
I simply am filled with laughter and love upon reading your translation of the book of Psalms. Please set it as a life long goal and legacy to finish translating the entire bible. You are a Blessing and the Kingdom of God would truly benefit from your labour of love. It will never be forgotten.
Thank you April! I do plan on finishing all 66 books! Just completed Matthew and Romans. Now on to the gospel of Mark, Mercy Triumphs!
For the last 25 years of my 40 years as a Christian, I have been in love with the Psalms and always turn to them, whether up or down. I love and write poetry, and have come to realize that much of what I write is actually psalms, in modern vernacular. I just finished a group study of the Psalms, which spurred me to find ways to learn and celebrate them more. While at the bookstore today, I searched and searched in disappointment, before suddenly stumbling onto Poetry On Fire! It was the only one in the store! And as I looked through it, I could not believe what I was seeing! I am am so thrilled to have this TPT of The Psalms that I so love! This opens up, shines the light on, and magnifies what I had already known and loved. I can hardly wait to get Proverbs, and all of your translations! The commentaries will also be on my list. I don’t know you, haven’t heard of you, but consider you an answer to my prayer. Praising God!
Thank you Ginger, I’m so glad you’re enjoy Psalms, Poetry on Fire. Perhaps you can devour Proverbs next. I have over 30 footnotes on Proverbs 31, the “Virtuous Woman” that I promise will surprise you. Blessings! Brian Simmons, TPT
Dr. Simmons,
Thank you and thanks be to our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ! I saw your interview on Its Supernatural and became intrigued regarding TPT. Usually I shy away from anything other than my NKJV. I read the kindle version first of Matthew and loved it. I could not imagine loving the book of Luke as much as the book of John. I did. Today, I bought the audible versions of Psalms and Proverbs. I am so grateful for your work and service and dedication to our Lord! I can hardly wait for more of your translated books to be available via audible as they are so beautiful to listen too. You do a great job narrating as well. May God continue to richly bless you!
Lorna Doss
Thank you Lorna! So glad you’re enjoying TPT!

passion fuel!
Looking at your itinerary Wow! Praying for Heavenly traveling Hosts to accompany you and for extraordinary refreshing.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Gray
Hi Suzanne! We will be in Houston in July, but have no plans yet for Dallas. Would love to come however sometime. The new book, “The Sacred Journey” is a revision and fresh edition using The Passion Translation. You’ll love it. It is due to be published Oct 1st. Dear Dr. Simmons,
I am wondering how the Love Chapter of 1 Corinthians will read in the Passion Translation.
May the Lord continue to empower you to great success.
Yours in Him,
Dean
Here it is Dean! Blessings to you my friend.
Chapter 13
Love, Greater than Gifts
¹Love makes all other gifts appear as nothing. For if I speak eloquently in earth’s many languages, and in the heavenly tongues of angels, yet I don’t express myself with love, then my words are nothing more than irritating noise, like that of a clanging cymbal.
²And if I were to have the gift of prophecy with a profound understanding of God’s hidden secrets—and if I possess unending supernatural knowledge—and if I had the greatest gift of faith that could move mountains —but have never learned to love, then I am simply nothing!
³And if I were to be so generous as to give away everything I owned to feed the poor, and offer my body to be burned as a martyr, but without the pure motive of love, I gain nothing of value!
⁴Love patiently waits even in a difficult relationship. Love is gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements nor inflate its own importance. ⁵Love does not traffic in shame and disrespect; nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense. ⁶Love joyfully celebrates honesty, and gives up a search for what is wrong. ⁷There is nothing loyal love cannot face, for it never loses faith. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it never gives up.
Perfect Love
⁸Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. ⁹Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, ¹⁰but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. ¹¹When I was a child I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.
¹²For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries, as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face to face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. ¹³And until then, there are three things which remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run!
