Dear Passion and Fire family,
I don’t think I’ll ever tire of telling you that without a doubt that we’re living in some of the greatest times on earth. And lately the Father keeps highlighting to me two important events this month. One is the “the National Day of Prayer” that just took place here in America and the other is “Pentecost”. Both events are close to His heart. And with that I also keep seeing Jesus praying with us in our prayer gatherings. I feel like the Father is really wanting to encourage us like it says in Luke 18:1, “Jesus taught the apostles to keep praying and never stop or lose heart.”
The Day of Prayer.
Here in the US believers met all over the nation, joining hands across denominational lines and praying for unity. The theme was Ephesians 4:3-4, “Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny.”
In a recent dream the Lord came to me and said, “You can have if you’ll ask and ask according to my will!”
1 Jo. 5:14-15 says, “Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before Him, for if we ask anything agreeable to His will, He will hear us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of Him.”
Did you catch that? It says that “we also KNOW that we have OBTAINED the requests we ask of Him.” I believe that since we’ve asked for unity that we’ll begin to see unity and that it will come in a greater measure this year, starting now. He is going to perform it! Watch for it! The Father said to me, “You will begin to see significant divisions resolved in multiple areas of your lives. A great unifying process has been released through your prayers.”
John Wesley once said, “God does nothing except in response to believing prayer.” We’re very much a vital part of what He pours out here on the earth! In the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus in John 17 Jesus’ cried out for us to be one in the same way that He and the Father are one. And without a doubt we know that the Father will answer Jesus’ prayer!
John 17:21 “I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me.”
I believe that our prayers this month have shifted the church to another level. For whenever we join our hearts with others at the “throne of grace” we can always expect an impact. There must be a move on earth before there is a move in heaven. Heaven waits for earth. And it comes to the earth by aggressive, even furious prayer. Listen to what Jesus taught us: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matt.18:18)
And not only has unity been released in the Spirit to take hold in the Church, but in the Spirit I saw a new passion, a new zeal, and a new enthusiasm being released. And I heard the Father say that through our prayers we’ve built a foundation for the love revolution to break out. We are about to see the kingdom of heaven realm bursting forth more and more because passionate people have taken hold of prayer and its power through Jesus Christ! (Matt. 11:14) The Lord has released through us kingdom shifting prayers! And like John the Baptist, the church is taking the kingdom by force. More unity, more power, more joy, more healings, more deliverance, more people moving in their gifts and more strategy will invade our meetings and gatherings as heaven’s glory and presence becomes the new normal. Fervent, believing prayer has been activated and as a result a shift is taking place around the earth!
Pentecost
It was a 50 day prayer meeting that birthed the church and began a great ingathering of souls. I might add that there was a great unity that came about in the church as well. It all began when the fire of God was poured out in a 50 day prayer meeting that changed the world. As we join our hearts with others at the “throne of grace” we must expect that it will have an impact. As I said before heaven waits for us and it comes to the earth by aggressive, even furious prayer. The move in heaven is controlled by the move on earth. Listen to what Jesus taught us: “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matt.18:18)
And you will begin to see a greater move of the Spirit being ignited in us and in the church! For in dream I saw the Father pick up the church of the nations in His hands. And He raised us up to His lips, and like a man would blow on embers He blew on us and activated a Fire! And we were not burned up, but, (like the burning bush before Moses) instead we were ignited.
A spark is being ignited in us to get this love revolution going. It is manifesting in and through us and will cascade into the nations around us. We’re living in miraculous times. God is going to move again like He did in the upper room, but this time it will be magnified and like it was then it will be a deep and lasting work in the hearts of individuals. The Lord is about to blow on us and a new breath will not just come into the church proper, but also to people who have given up on God, people who have been closet Christians and some who have been worshipping from afar and in secret. And the reason they will be touched is because you’ve been praying for the fire to touch them too. It will be like a breath of fresh air has come, the very breath of God breathing on us. Yes, the Lord wants you to know that He’s hearing your prayers and He is answering!

Candice Simmons is a true spiritual mom in the body of Christ with a passion to see the bride of Christ awakened and brought into the full activation of their gifts and callings. She has been in ministry for 47 years mentoring both young and old, men and women. She received Christ in the early 70’s during the Jesus movement and immediately began ministering to the next generation of young people.
In the 80’s she and her husband, Brian were tribal missionaries serving in the jungles of Panama. They were field leaders and ministered to the Paya-Kuna tribe, living on the border of Panama and Colombia for nearly 8 years. In the late 80’s they returned home and established Gateway Christian Fellowship, a hub for revival and awakening in New England where they ministered for 18 years and established a network of churches called ARC.
She was a fore-runner in establishing the prophetic in New England and taught classes on the prophetic and established a prophetic ministry in their church called Impact. She is an avid dreamer and gifted in interpretation of dreams and uses this gift to minister hope and destiny to the churches.
Today they have an itinerate ministry (Passion and Fire), traveling the nations and internationally teaching and prophesying to churches. At the same time she is helping her husband with their new Bible Translation called the Passion Translation and has co-authored three books with him; The Sacred Journey, Throne Room Prayer and The Image Maker (soon to be released) and is currently working on two more books, The Stairway and The Dreamer.
